1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by GetShipin Logistics, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

GetShipin Logistics provides international shipping and logistics services including but not limited to:

  • Air freight shipping

  • Sea freight shipping

  • Package handling and processing

  • Online shopping assistance

  • Express processing services

  • Photo confirmation of packages upon request

  • Local delivery services

We primarily ship packages from international retailers to Jamaica, servicing customers in Kingston, St. Andrew, and Portmore.

GetShipin Logistics reserves the right to modify or discontinue any service at its discretion.

3. Shipping Schedule

Air Freight

Air shipments are processed and shipped five (5) times per week, allowing for fast turnaround times.

Sea Freight

Sea shipments are processed and shipped once (1) per week and are ideal for larger or heavier shipments.

All shipping schedules are estimated and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs inspections, weather conditions, airline schedules, shipping carriers, or other circumstances beyond our control.

4. Shipping Rates

Air Freight Rates

  • 1 lb – $650

  • 2–10 lbs – $600 per lb

  • After 10 lbs – $550 per lb

Weight Rounding Policy

Weights are rounded based on the following policy:

  • Packages below 0.5 lb are rounded down

  • Packages at or above 0.5 lb are rounded up

Examples:

  • 1.4 lb = charged as 1 lb

  • 1.5 lb = charged as 2 lbs

Sea Freight Rates

Sea freight is available for heavier shipments and bulk items.

  • $450 per lb

  • Minimum charge: $2,500

  • Estimated clearance time: 2–3 weeks

Clearance times are estimates and may vary depending on customs processing and port operations.

5. Additional Fees

The following additional fees may apply:

Processing Fee

  • $150 per invoice

Delivery Fees

  • Kingston & St. Andrew – Starting at $800

  • Portmore – Starting at $1,200

Delivery fees vary depending on distance and delivery conditions.

6. Pickup Locations

Customers may collect packages from our designated pickup locations:

  • Half Way Tree – Premier Plaza

  • Red Hills Lookout

Customers will receive exact pickup instructions and confirmation once their package is ready for collection.

7. Delivery Services

GetShipin Logistics offers home and office delivery services within the following areas:

  • Kingston

  • St. Andrew

  • Portmore

Delivery fees apply and vary depending on the delivery location.

8. Online Shopping Assistance

GetShipin Logistics provides online shopping assistance for customers who do not have access to credit or debit cards.

Customers must provide product details and complete payment locally before purchases are made.

While we assist with the purchase process, GetShipin Logistics is not responsible for vendor errors, incorrect items, sizing issues, order cancellations, or supplier delays.

All matters relating to refunds or exchanges must be handled directly with the original vendor.

9. Express Processing

Customers may request express processing for faster handling of their packages.

Where available, packages will be processed the same day they are received at our warehouse.

Express processing does not guarantee delivery time but ensures priority handling within our system.

10. Photo Confirmation Service

Customers may request photo confirmation of their packages once items arrive at our warehouse.

This service provides visual verification that the package has been received. However, it does not constitute a full inspection of the package contents.

11. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information

  • Ensuring items comply with shipping regulations

  • Paying all applicable shipping, processing, delivery, and customs fees

Incorrect information may result in delays or additional charges.

12. Prohibited Items

Customers must ensure that shipped items comply with all local and international laws.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, weapons, or ammunition

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Flammable or dangerous chemicals

  • Perishable foods

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable financial instruments

Any prohibited item may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund.

13. Liability & Risk

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

GetShipin Logistics is not responsible for:

  • Vendor packaging issues

  • Items damaged due to improper packaging

  • Delays caused by customs or shipping carriers

  • Packages lost before reaching our facility

  • Damage to fragile items such as glass, electronics, liquids, or cosmetics

Customers shipping fragile or sensitive items do so at their own discretion.

14. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Customers will be notified once their packages are ready for collection.

Packages not collected within a reasonable time may incur storage fees.

Packages left uncollected for an extended period may be disposed of, donated, or auctioned to recover storage costs.

15. Amendments

GetShipin Logistics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication.
